Murray Gold The Musical Genius

I've been listening to a lot of Doctor Who soundtrack recently, and most recently, the track This Time There's Three Of Us from The Day Of The Doctor. There are pieces of series 9 score all over this! Most obvious is The Shepherd's Boy, but I also noted some cues that are later used for Ashildr/Me. Has anyone else noticed cues that are used in later episodes in the DOTD soundtrack? Looks like Murray Gold was using the special as a testing ground for cues that would come later. Smart!
