Just something I just noticed about the sonic screwdrivers in the 50th.
Post Body

So, I was trying and failing to sleep when something occurred to me. When the Doctors meet, 10 and 11 point their screwdrivers at the War Doctor and he reminds them that they're scientific instruments, not weapons. Fair point. They are screwdrivers after all.

BUT. Later, when they're breaking out of the painting, they use their screwdrivers to blow away a Dalek. So... maybe they are weapons too? Just a little bit?

Not that it took away from the episode for me or anything. I loved every minute of it. It's just something that made me tilt my head and go "huh." Does anyone have any thoughts or explanations?
