What the heck happened to Doctor Who when Jody Whitaker became the doctor? It’s like they lost the majority of their budget because no longer were going off world. it feels like 90% of the episodes take place on earth and are “historical episodes.” this very much annoys me because I used to love Doctor Who for the fantastical creatures and monsters and aliens and all the different planets and places we got to see. It’s as if the writers got so boring that they said oh we can come up with anything new so let’s, put them on earth in a historical setting put an alien 75% and then the other 25% will be an alien that looks just like a human. The show with Jodi Whitaker as the doctor feels not like Doctor Who. It feels like Doctor Who if it was any other regular show. It’s like they took the basic elements of Doctor Who kept them in and then called at the show instead of including everything that we love from Doctor Who.
