I keep seeing videos pop up on YouTube of fans ‘fixing’ the current title sequence which started with The Star Beast last year.

A lot of them make it out to look like that the intro is ‘out of sync’ with the music when it’s not??? The people who made the intro designed it and timed it according to what they liked and it works as their own piece of art.

During Capaldis era, there were episodes where the music delay did deviate a lot from how it was in the previous episode and that I can understand being angry about it because even as a young kid it felt off-putting.

But in this case, the music is timed according to the VFX and Motion Graphics displayed on screen (or it could be the other way round i.e. music then VFX which makes more sense but u get what I mean).

The part where the logo appears has been fixed by the time since it originally looked really out of place on screen so i do like that the BBC/Bad Wolf are listening to people online but most of the feedback they’ve gotten from fans online about the intro is just useless.

STOP making videos ‘fixing’ the intro.

P.S. I do actually miss the ‘Marvel zoom in’ effect in the original version of the intro last year but you guys had to complain about it online so they changed it to a wide shot with a bunch of planets in the back 😑 P
