I'm not 100% sure if this has already been brought up on this thread - apologies if it has.

Did anyone notice the similarities in how Ncuti introduces the Who Universe to Ruby in the recent first episode. Very similar to the 9th Doctor's "S1:E2 The End of the World" episode.

How Ncuti describes how the TARDIS got stuck looking like a 60s police box is freakishly alike. And in particular the dialogue where he zappes Ruby's phone with the sonic to speak with her mum from the future. The lines are almost identical from the 9th's and Rose's episode.

I might just be grasping for straws because Eccleston was my first doctor and nostalgia is getting the better of me. But I just found it funny how RTD chose to kickstart the new series like that.

Had an overwhelming sense of deja vu - in a good way mind! Interested to see if any other Whovians shared the same feelings as myself or spotted anything else!
