so i’m finally getting the ball rolling on 13’s run. i’ve only just finished Arachnids in the UK but so far i’m enjoying what i’ve seen. something that’s really standing out to me is her companions. Graham, Ryan, and Yaz are genuinely so much fun to watch. leading up to 13’s run i’ve heard the usual about the writing being not up to par with previous series. this has mainly been accredited to The Doctor’s writing but i have heard a few complaints about her companions being annoying in one way or another. but so far, im enjoying watch them so much. it’s the most genuine fun i’ve had with companions since the Ponds. and while i do already find it a problem that Chibnall has written every episode so far, which i know spread him very thin in terms of consistency, so i know my enjoyability of them may dip. i was just wondering without too many spoilers, are they still enjoyable throughout 13’s run? i genuinely don’t like disliking Doctor Who so i’m trying my best to remain optimistic but with the constant criticisms i see pop up it makes me weary that i might start getting bored while watching them.
