Hey everyone! you may have seen my recent theory about the possibility of the sonic screwdriver having some new abilities in the upcoming specials. Today, i’m here to present a theory as to how the 60th will end up being a Multi-Doctor story, with 14 and 15 working together to defeat The Toymaker. Brace yourselves, it’s gonna be a long one

So, after watching the 60th trailer for about the 1,000th time, i’ve come up with an idea as to how 14 and 15 will come together to defeat The Toymaker AND save Donna Noble.

During the trailer, we get scenes of 14 shouting, including “WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE THIS?” I believe this line is before a regeneration. Now, i know we are all expecting the specials to end with a regeneration, but what if there’s a twist?

See, i believe that The Toymaker will trap 14 and Donna inside some huge trap building (the location we see 14 shouting in), where towards the end, The Toymaker will fake Donna’s death. this will drive The Doctor over the edge. this is what lead into the regeneration, but it’s not a typical one.

14 is going to be the first incarnation to begin regenerating due to how emotionally damaging it is to see Donna ‘die’. not because of radiation, or a laser blast, or even old age. the stress and sadness of ‘losing’ Donna will cause The Doctor to begin his regeneration into 15. BUT, that’s not how it ends…

When The Toymaker realizes that 14 is regenerating, he will mess with The Doctor’s reality to try and stop the process, but instead of stopping it, he’ll actually cause something else to happen. I believe that The Toymaker’s interruption will happen to late, and will instead cause 15 to emerge from 14, but not take his place. instead, they will both coexist and help each other defeat The Toymaker.

The final shot of the trailer showing 15 opening his eyes, is him about to walk into 14’s place, but instead, he will step out, turn around, see 14 and The Toymaker, and utter the now famous line,

“WILL SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?”

while i’m not saying this is 100% what is going to happen, but i have a very strong feeling that i’m at least 50% on the right track. what do you guys think?
