Theres an opportunity within the department for clinical fellows to apply for a speciality doctor position. Theres 4/12 good candidates (including myself) who I know would have a chance at getting this position.
I just found out that I will be getting a substantial paycut if I get the job as speciality doctors dont get enhanced pay for shifts that are out of hours.
What kind of wierd logic is this? As a clinical fellow i get paid more than the registrars who are supervising me. (Sorry this paragraph was just a rant.)
TL;DR
What is the pa system ?
