So our party members consist of human cleric with improvised weapons, twf fighter, druid with tiger companion, a gunslinger and or fifth party member was ot sick normally a sorcerer and on this quest a guide of tower sheild fighter. My self the twf, has out knowledge of blacksmithing and armor craft and always carries several oil flask for repairs on the road. The quest was to enter a cave system full with what scores counted as upwards 30 goblins. Being so low level and being down party members we knew we couldn't take the cave by force. But the cave entrance sloped downward in the cave. So knowing how flammable oil is along with several lantern oil vials we prepared the trap.

The cleric hid on top of the three cave entrance and ready fire breath. While gunslinger and druid were up top as well to ran down extra vial of oil. I was the distraction I went into the cave set off small firecracker to get attention then ran out jumping over oil to not get covered myself. The npc and tiger waited in cover around the cave entrance to finish off and remain goblin that were not caught in flames.

So there I was in front of the cave with borrowed tower sheild yelling at the hoard and 30 goblins come running right into the oil. The cleric released his flame breath at the oil with the amount of oil on the ground about 8 flask so 8d6 worth of damage plus another 1d6 on their round the hoard was toast along with druid and gunslinger throwing oil on top. So for 1 gold 4 silver took down a cave full of goblins without being touched.
