Okay, so in my 5E game right now, I'm playing a rouge, planning to go swashbuckler. Thinking of picking up magic initiate since I've heard Booming Blade is really good for swashbucklers, plus I feel like it'd gel well with the Hellish rebuke I get from being a tiefling.

That still leaves a second cantrip and a first level spell. 1st level should probably be a utility spell: Comprehend language sounds good.

As for the cantrip... Prestidigitation sounds good but I'm not sure how handy it would be when I already have Thaumaturgy.

Likewise, Green Flame Blade sounds like a fun cantrip, but I'm not sure how much I'll use it when I already have booming blade.

Opinions would be appreciated.

In case it affects suggestions, I'm going for a rag-to-riches wannabe knight kind of character with high Charisma.
