How to run a campaign in a setting related to a different culture without being disrespectful?

Post Body

I recently found a Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty setting guide in r/UnearthedArcana (check it out, its really good). Kamigawa is a setting made by MTG, and its based on Japanese culture and lore, and contrasts tradition versus modernization. I am very excited to play in this setting, however I do have one concern.

I am not Japanese and neither is anyone in my play group. I want to be able to play this setting without mocking, simplifying, or "western-izing" the Japanese culture inherently tied to the setting. Does anyone have any tips/resources on making sure this isn't a concern? Thank you!
