So, I'm the sort of person to make the character/backstory first then make stats mostly informed by that. But, prone to sticking to certain classes and such, I figured I'd experiment a bit; Throw this one out to folks on here and see what you come up with.
So I came up with this simple but cute little concept of a girl with no money, noteworthy family or status, in general, getting a massive crush on a princess or some other high-status lady then deciding that she earn herself status by trying to become a knight to even stand a chance.
So yeah. Wannabe hedge-knight/knight errant whatever term you wanna use, seeking a proper title and status to get the attention of a crush.
Personally, a martial class like fighter feels like it'd make the most sense with a concept like this, though I low-key want charisma to one of my top 3 stats since I find myself naturally drawn to doing a lot of talkey/diplomacy type stuff. Probably aim for a "inspire through stubborn drive and or passion" sort of type.
As I said, fighter feels like the most fitting option to go along with backstory personally. Paladin could probably also work since I know they have a decent amount of charisma-based stuff, but I'm not overly sure how well this would mesh with the concept, mainly what this girl would've done to get that sort of support from a patron deity or which deities would fit best. Third personal pick is bard since they're all inspiring people, being charismatic and you can still aim them toward being martial but that feels more like my bias toward it as my favourite class talking.
But that's just my personal feelings on the matter, keep with that idea or suggest something completely different; I just wanna see what y'all can come up with.
