So, long story short, how should a PC go about to counter divination magic like scry?
Post Body

Long story here, This was a PC controlled 18th level abjuration wizard who became a villain through story events and is now an NPC under my control. This wizard knows the party very well and knows that they have access to various ways to observe creatures through divination magics, so the wizard prepares for the preparations to get prepared to create a stupid amount of back up contingency to continue living. The wizard was lucky to snag an amulet of proof against detection before escaping but it was damaged badly, slowly loosing it's magical property just under a months time. Any suggestion oh how this wizard could go about not only avoiding the mystical prying eyes of those hunting it, but further it's mortality without the use of great evils like lichdom, vampirism or the like. The wizard is not truly evil, just intent on surviving.
