Want to Run a tyranny of Dragons campaign starting at lv 5 or 6

I have a party of 5 players and want to run Both modules in ToD and want to start them at lv 5 or 6 and go by milestone so that they will be lv 20 by Tiamat boss battle. I was planning on making all the encounters hard except for the final battle. I don’t know if this still makes the campaign a bit too easy. I’m look you advised from people who ran the campaigns before.
