I apologize if this should go somewhere else but one of the things I’ve noticed while DMing some AL games online this last two weeks is that it’s a great escape for people and last night I had a really great RPer that had us all laughing. Think Don Quixote but a bladesinger-wannabe.
This got my buddy and I to think of making a pair of characters to bring some extra levity. At first I was thinking a grave cleric and a zealot as they work well together mechanically and for the RP he’s using him to better learn what it’s like to die. Another idea was a Druid who pretends to be a ranger’s animal companion.
The goal is to have characters that have a good fun idea behind them without limiting the party. And I thought this might be fun for the community to brainstorm too.
So let me see your best suggestions!
