Hexblade Warlocks: 1H or 2H Melee vs Ranged?
Post Body

Any Hexblade Warlocks out there, what was your weapon of choice? For RP and how I have it pictured in my head, summoning a badass Glaive really tickles my fancy. However, a longbow would also be super cool to bring out and tag enemies from a range. 1H weapons and dual wield are also feasible (DW with a multi class dip). Just curious if you all have experience with any of these and the pros and cons you’ve found? Which was most fun in your opinion?

Right now because of my backstory and roll playing, I’m looking at playing a Tabaxi with a dip into Tempest Cleric for 1, maybe 2 levels, to get that rad reaction burst elemental damage if anyone decides to try and get too close and attack. I like this one most flavor wise right now. Lemme know if you have any suggestions. I’m not worried about min/maxing as much as I am about role playing, but if I can combine the two and pull off some epic combat shenanigans, even better!
