High Jump and Long Jump rules make for some interesting situations.

Elephants fare quite poorly, for example. On the other hand, cats can, with a ten foot head start, jump 1.5 feet horizontally and 0 feet vertically.
I get that this is for game mechanics and stability, I just thought the sheer absurdity of a cat that can't jump and an elephant that can jump almost as high as a regulation basketball hoop were somewhat entertaining. It would certainly allow for an unexpected and very counterintuitive mechanics puzzle.
