Could I get some class suggestions/opinions for a character idea I have (older human shopkeeper off to fight recipes)

Post Body

Edit: .... off to fight evil I mean.

So basically my idea is an older human widow who’s husband has died and has decided to go back out adventuring again. When she was young she considered herself to be a good (blank). She looks deceptively weak and acts wise (but it doesn’t mean her advice is any good). ‘In my day wizards could just wish for anything’.

It the back of my mind I’m considering adding in that she killed her husband when he became weak and frail. Or she killed her child’s elven spouse. Either way the DM has asked all the characters to have a secret.

I can’t decide between fighter or rouge or maybe something else, but I think I want to multi-class one level bard or a magic user for some basic cantrips for useless RP old lady things.

Nothing evil this time around because it is the DMs first time.
