Like the title says, I am thinking about creating a Warlock and something about the Great Old One as a patron option seems very fun to me, I think it'll give me really unique opportunities for RP as well as the madness aspect of it is really cool.
Only one problem, of all the patron options I have seen for this all seem to be evil and Lovecraftian. Not that that is a bad thing, but the way I want my story and past to work is that I grew up in a cult of sorts worshipping one of these gods to become the chosen one, only to have the god tell me somehow that what they were doing is wrong and that I need to fix things. So I am envisioning a god that is kinda chaotic neutral so I can be good and not just have outright evil purposes.
Are there any gods like this or am I out of luck?
