I have a huge favor to ask the DragonQuest fans here.
Post Body
Do any of you think it would be possible to build a sage in 5e? It's essentially a mage and cleric smashed together. The sage can learn all of the spells from both mage and cleric. The sage can buff, debuff, heal, cure diseases, and do some serious damage. What I imagine would fit that is possibly an evocation wizard? Of course the spells the character would learn are very highly dependent on what the DM chooses to put into the game.
