created a set for our new paladin, for context the party is level 20 and are fighting epic battles against armies and such with the threat of demons and things. his god is Pelor and i tried to keep things in the theme of his god and character. the "living metal" is something that i have made that is part of my world and campaigns for said world, and part of the race/class set that i have been working on and can be seen in my prior submission. if you guys have and balance suggestions feel free to comment, i always enjoy help when it comes to making my stuff more balanced and interesting.
The Armor of Pelor
The Armor of Pelor is a set of full plate, the metal it is made from is living metal. Due to the nature of living metal the armor never tarnishes, dents and scratches repair themselves as the metal reforms itself and due to this nature the wearer is granted an additional 1 to AC. This armor was given to the mightiest of Pelorโs paladins and priests, as such the wearer is granted healing powers above that of his other followers and during the heat of battle the armor glows with the color of the sun. A paladins Lay on Hands pool is increased from 5 times their paladin level to 10 times their paladin level. Additionally, the users Auras are extended an additional 15 feet.
Sword and Shield of the Sun
This sword and shield appear to be made from a white metal. The sword is a longsword and has been blessed by the highpriests. All damage dealt with the sword is radiant damage and grants 2 to damage. Once per short rest the user may use their action to raise the sword in the air and emit a flash of healing light. All allies in a 15ft radius are healed for 20 health and grant 1AC for 1 turn. The shield is a large kite shield. Once per Short, when an enemy would make an attack against you, you can channel the righteous light of the shield to shield you. (No Action Required). The attacking creature must make a Constitution Saving Throw versus your Paladin's Spell Save DC, on a failure, the enemy is blinded and stunned until the end of your next turn.
edit: changed shields ability
