I'm looking to try my hand at DMing for the first time with a one shot based on a 5 course meal. My plan is to have pre-made PC's to hand out all based on different styles of cooking and baking and have them infiltrate a castle/kitchen to kill an evil chef making food based constructs.
I plan on using a calzone golem as the dinner course, killing the chef as the "just deserts", but I'm not sure about the appetizer, soup, and salad courses.
I'm also not 100% on the different PC's, I'm thinking a Barbarian or Fighter BBQ master with a meat tenderizer(maul), a monk pastry chef, maybe a wizard baker. I think I'll need 5, and the more the better. Also not totally sure of what level to put them at.
I really would like to find any stated monsters based on food that already exist to limit the amount of work for me.
Thanks for any help!
