My dm is letting my party pick a magic item

In our campaign we just completed a quest for the owner of a magic shop and hes letting us pick a magic item in his shop ( the only restriction is that it cant be to strong for us as a level 5 party) and we dont know what to choose though we want to try and get a item that benefits the entire party and not just one character
