Random thought, but sorcerers should have something similar to a warlock's pact boon.

Post Body

This thought just popped in my mind as I scrolled past someone's new sorcerous origin homebrew.

The sorcerer's origin shouldn't dictate what kind a sorcerer a person is. The origin should only explain how that person got their magic. A wizard's school or a warlock's pact boon explain how their classes used their magic. Meanwhile, the origin and focus for a sorcerer are all rolled up into their class at level 1.

Just a random thought. No ideas on implementation or homebrew. Only thinking out loud.
