I have a campaign that is starting back up after two years going from lv5 to lv7, how should I distribute magic items for that time frame and how many. (5 player group, 2 of which are new to the group).

Post Body

So as the title says, I have a campaign that we are resuming after an almost 2 year long brake, and with that we have decided to have a time skip and a 2-level level up. My problem is that I have never been good at waging when to give magic items and how many the party should have. Currently they have two homebrew weapon magic items (ruffly uncommon teir) and that's about it. Any help as too how many magic items and at what teirs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
