Oh man, so this last session we had a situation sorta like this between my Eldritch Knight and our Eloquence Bard. My githboi was swatting at a couple vampire spawn who focused on him, while the bard was safely away from them. She figured out a play with Dissonant Whispers, which on a failed save makes the target move, but also triggers an opportunity attack. My fighter has Sentinel, which reduces movement speed to 0 on a successful opportunity attack. Two turns in a row one of the spawn failed and took a hit, taking damage from both without being able to move. It was gross. I loved it.
