Me and my freind were trying to find a game, it would be his first game and my second and we found a DM you needed three players. He had a freind who wanted to join so that rounded is at four.
Game is supposed to start Saturday that week and it's the day off and I ask if Session 0 is starting. He replies with, and I quote, "Almost forgot." then pushed the Session 0 to next weekend. We thought it was weird but whatver, people get busy.
Session 0 comes and it is... rough. We're doing Foundry which took me a bit to figure out personally but the other guy unrelated to any of us leaves right after making his character. Figured he was busy but then the DM's friend leaves the discord call thirty minutes after, leaving me and my friend with the Dm. From my understanding you're supposed to talk things over about the campaign in a session 0 but well... there was only two of us.
Next weekend comes and I fix my sleep schedule so I can be awake, so does my freind as he is normally alseep at the time due to work. DM asked if everyone was ready and his freind replied with, "I'll be busy because I'm playing the Elden Ring DLC."
I though this was a joke but it was not ans the game was pushed back again. Me and my freind and peeved off for obvious reasons but keep it to ourselves. Next week comes along and the random that nobody knows dropped out so game was postponed until the DM could find two new players. Alright, this one at least made sense.
That was Saturday. At some point today me and my freind were kicked from discord and blocked on reddit without a single word from him. So yeah, that was a waste of nearly five weeks.
