Not a real rpg horror story as it was pretty low stakes but still thought it would fit.
So as a precedent my DM ruled that the lucky feat let you reroll ANY roll, not just yours or people who attack you, and that you could use it more than once on a roll. (they thought it was funny)
One time we were rolling to see who would get a magic item and I had rolled a 16, better than everyone else in my group.
The lucky party member didn't like that, and used lucky to make me reroll, and I ended up getting a natural 20 (obviously i was quite excited from that lol). They then made me reroll AGAIN, and I got a 2, giving the magic item to a third member of the party that wasn't either of us.
we had a discussion about it after the session and we should be using the normal rules now, but it was still annoying.
