i don't know if anyone else have had the chance to try out ChatGPT as a dungeon master, in my limited experience I've been blown away. its not perfect but it has surprised me a number of times with its ability to string together ideas into a cohesive story. of course it has its limitations especially in the creativity department but over all its been quit entertaining. I've been using it as a DM for about 2 ish hours and I've been able to explore a town and meet characters , and have even gotten a quest. its ability to create a world is astonishing. some times you have to feed it information or make choices that a DM would normally choose but it will choose randomly if prompted. as a person who has recently moved away from the group i played with and haven't had the time to find a new group, ChatGPT has made solo D&D simple, easy and entertaining. there are other limitations as it is still an AI but i think the potential for a digital DM experience is fast approaching. if any one else has experience with the chat bot id love to hear your thoughts and tips for using the chat bot to run campaigns.
Can you share some of the prompts you used to get the results you did?
