Good evening,
I am currently enrolled as a DLSU SHS Manila student from the Humanities strand. With college applications fast approaching, I am curious to know about the difficulty of taking a double-degree course in the university. Specifically, I want to take up AB in Psychology and BS in Marketing Management (I'm not sure if this is still available as I've only seen it on their degree program offering primer from '18-'19).
For those who have graduated or are currently pursuing a double degree, may I know about your experiences? How difficult has it been for you juggling the two courses? What common challenges do you find yourself struggling with? Additionally, I'm thinking of actively (depending on the load) engaging in organizations or perhaps taking up a job to be financially independent from my parent while studying, would this be impossible as a double degree student?
I really want to pursue both courses as this is my best compromise in pursuing my true passion (psychology) while also having something to fall back on for my survival (marketing).
Replies are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
