What SD card to use?

Hi, I just got a mini 2 SE and it looks like I’ll need an SD card for it. A few questions, though…

The SD card I got for it doesn’t work. Not sure if it’s the brand or not, but it was a 128gb Verbatim. It couldn’t read anything on the card and couldn’t save anything to it. I have a 256gb Lexar that I usually use for my GoPro, and that worked, but I noticed something. The pictures I took with my GoPro couldn’t be read by the drone, and the pictures I took with the drone couldn’t be read by the GoPro. What gives? Is it a formatting issue?

Is there an SD card on the market that can be used interchangeably between my GoPro and my drone? That would be ideal.
