Hey folks, I am aware that it is not directly related with django but I am part of the community and I really enjoy the support I get here all the time.
I built a django application for my wife, it is an online content platform for yoga. She has around ~50 students. Yesterday I deployed a new coupon feature that allows you to send coupons for specific products to users. We sent around 50 coupons afterwards.
This morning, there were ongoing campaign and we got some new subscriptions. However around an hour ago, the email sent started to fail. When I checked I saw that it was blocked with error code of 522, spam or virus.
I opened an inquiry directly on support however it says they will review it within 72 hours.
Since this is the beginning of the next month, new people are registering and subscribing, which was blocked unfortunately. For a quick solution, I set another SMTP server on google temporarily.
However I afraid if it happens with that also.
What I need is a guidance, how can I ensure my emails are not blocked. Maybe someone have experience, can send me docs or share the experience.
Thanks in advance folks.
edit: there are very good advices down, thanks for the support!
edit 2: I separated transactional emails and the custom emails (those are also transactional however includes links, custom html templates etc.) By default I use google smtp server for transactional, for customs I set resend. Hopefully this will work fine.
