Jerry rig a sub help

So I have a Sony STRDH190 2-ch Home Stereo Receiver, I get it’s not made to really properly have a subwoofer to hook up to it, but I’ve heard of people who can jerry rig car subwoofers to normal receivers to give that bass, I was wondering if anyone new how to do something like that? Any help would be appreciated
