Insulation for the back of potentiometers?
Post Body

I am about to embark on my first DIY pedal build, from a board I purchased and self-sourced components, which uses 16mm Alpha potentiometers soldered to the back of the board. I am looking for recommendations for insulating the potentiometers from the through-hole components on the board itself, should anything move around in the case after assembly.

My current plan is to either just layer some electrical tape on the back of the board, or on the pots themselves. However, this seems kludgey and I am slightly worried about long-term reliability, should that tape become loose, get scratched, or other failure modes I'm not imagining.

Am I over-thinking this? How do y'all handle insulation between pots and boards?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to review my question.
