Hi team,
I am building the Ruthenium Reverb V2 (100% as shown here) and I am running into a weird situation: there is a singal leaving the pedal to the reverb tank, I hear it loud and clear with an audio probe. There is also signal returning to the pedal. I know because when I give the reverb tank a little shove I hear the telltale rattling coils sound. However when I play a guitar through the pedal I do not get any reverb. When I am playing and not getting any reverb but give the reverb tank a little jolt, I still hear the coils rattling around.
My only guess is that the (a) the amplification of the signal out to the reverb tank is insufficient or (b) the drivers on the reverb tank are not functioning.
Any ideas? I am definitely out on a ledge with this one and welcome those with more experience and understanding of analog spring reverb.
Schematics here (not my build, my inspiration).
My build and schematics for the PCB are here (with full credit to u/prefectingfjords for the schematics and inspiration).
Thanks!
