Am I being over the top? Door for bathroom renovation.
Post Body

I've been getting my bathroom renovated, it has been extended slightly and the door moved.

The builder and I decided to go for a new prehung door.

When ordering this it was decided to go for a pine reveal but both the builder and the prehung door manufacturer are saying the mdf skinned door is standard and will be fine for the bathroom.

Now I may be overthinking this as I work in water restoration buuuut by thoughts are this is a high use and high humidity room, and the door, while sealed and painted, will over the next few years chip and rub etc and the mdf will eventually colect moisture and swell....

The door is being painted white. I'd rather the door be skinned with hardboard or veneer (veneer IMHO is pointless when it's being painted, but it's an option)

TLDR Question: Are mdf skinned doors okay for bathrooms?
