Precast pavers versus pouring your own?

How hard of a job is pouring your own pavers for a walkway versus just getting a pallet of them delivered? Advantage of pouring your own being making them nice and large. Is there specific premixed concrete in bags that’s suitable for pavers or need to step up to mixing in a mixer or getting a truck to deliver it? I realise got to vibrate the air out when putting it down and compact the base very thoroughly first.
