The more i read the more confused i get. I want to build a shed (for me) with a sleepout for the teenager. Now what i make of it, it will have someone sleeping in it so the entire structure has to be built to IL2, obviously driving costs up dramatically.

Im trying to keep this project cost as little as possible. So would a way around this be to build a standalone IL1 shed (as i understand it you can put a shower and toilet in this) then build the sleepout under the 30sq unconsented rules, and put it right next to the shed?

Or any ideas on how I can achieve a sleepout shed toilet for under 100k? ... Rural Taranaki if that makes a difference
