Working on a thing for my arcade cabinet and a little out of my depth

Post Body

So I have a custom built arcade cabinet, made largely out of old HVAC scrap (the "arcade" is a mini PC). I have nearly everything I could want for it except for buttons on the side to use for pinball games. It just wouldn't be the same using a fight stick, you know? So I know where to buy such things, I know you can buy programmable ones, etc; Heck I even have a pretty good idea how to put them onto the existing cabinet and how the cable management's (probably) gonna work.

I have no idea what models/parts to buy or how to program them. So that's where I'm asking you fine folks. How should I go about this?
