HV module + multiplier not working correctly

Post Body

So I am trying to make a HV wand like seen in one of electronoob and electro boom videos. I have a HV module from Amazon that I believe is 20kV and a HV multiplier made of 20 ceramic 20kV capacitors and 20 - 20kV 10mA HV diodes. This is supposed to 10x the input but that does not seem to be the case. I wish I could add more pics but the O-scope which I am very much still learning only 300v or 3000v because of the 10x probe on the O-scope? Either the wand works I get an output but it is only very small not powerful slightly shocking. This is very under powered when you look at the videos from the YouTubers whose could charge capacitors to point of sparking gap between legs and float paper with the amount of electrons being discharged. I just am not sure why this is not working like it should. My thoughts is it has something to do with the HV module from Amazon which is the large one (DEVMO 5PCS DC 3v-6v to 400kV 400000V Boost Step-up Power Module High-Voltage Generator) it is not 400kV it is more like 20kV. Any help would be greatly appreciated and any questions for more information I’ll answer best I can
