Is there are minimally larger, yet compatible, connector than the standard 3.5mm TRS plug?
Post Body

A while back, I bought some Marshal headphones. There was a manager's sale and for $30 bucks they were good enough for right now.
They're decent enough for beater and loaner headphones.

Unfortunately, I broke the cable. The good news is they're detachable.
Their website calls them "dual 3.5mm," one end is TRS and the other TRRS.

I have lots of AUX cables that are TRS/TRRS or TRS/TRS, and they all work fine. Except...
The headphone end gets pulled out really easily.
And this didn't happen with the OEM cable.

To my recollection, the OEM cable looked normal. The website pics look normal. (I may have to dig through my unpacked moving boxes to measure with a micrometer.)

If anyone knows if they're using a slightly different plug than advertised or if there's something to be done (adjustment or mod), let me know.
