Active speaker Alto Professional Black 12 buzzes very loudly. I’ve isolated the issue to the amp. Best way to move forward?

I have a pair of Alto Professional Black 12’s and one of them has a very loud buzz that can be heard even over the music that plays through them.
I can’t easily find a replacement amp. Should I try to get the amp fixed at a specialty shop or should I look into turning these into passive speakers and add an external amp?
