I have these old truck speaker boxes. That originally housed MTX 8 in drivers. With the Motorola horn tweeter on top. It has a port that is 2 " by 6.5" The original drivers got blown. So I had a pair of these Rockford fosgate DVC 10-in subs that I cut the opening larger and installed. Also I added a pair of mid-range/twitter combos that I had laying around to fill in where the horn tweeter was lacking. My question is is it possible ( I assume it is) to tune this port to accommodate the new sub? I sense have lost the data sheet for these subs so I don't know how big and how long it is supposed to be. I do know that the volume of the box is correct for the subs. I just recently lost the paperwork while I was doing the swap LOL Can anybody give me some direction on how big and long the port should be? I've never tuned a port before in my life and really have no idea what I'm doing.
