Long post incoming:
So I'm working on a little game table, roughly 23"x23", looks stock when sitting there, when you press a hidden magnetic latch, it will unlock the lid, which will lift up to reveal a small tv connected to an emulation PC/media server, and a cubby with some game controllers etc.
As with everything else in the project, the TV is onel I have lying around with speakers that stick out on either side of it. These are easy enough to relocate, just need to swap wires for longer ones.
This got me thinking though, is there any way to use the built in speaker connection from the TV, with better speakers and add a small inline amplifier without blowing up the TV?
Sorry for the long winded post, was just trying to give backstory and why I didn't just buy a sound bar, as a free project is a much easier sell than a $50 one until my new job starts in a couple months.
