Iām wanting to get into some prototype builds for compression and conical designed speakers. I have built a pair of frugal horns and large open baffles. So I want to up my speaker builds. Iām a hobby woodworker and have bandsaw, lathe (large), CNC router, proficient with hand tools and a large collection of wood. Some random amps and measuring tools for cross over measurements. What are a good set of drivers (not looking for expensive, but all around good drivers) for conical speakers and another pair of compression drivers?
Also any good sources for me to read up on around designs? I enjoy creating functional designs with solid woods (not a big of engineered wood products) and than make them use nice woods and finishes to make them pop.
