Sorry, English isn't my first language so this is kinda hard to explain. I recently finished Fear and Hunger Termina and one of the endings involved the human psyhe being connected to the Divine Machine, Logic. I ended up on a little dive into the subject and the anime Lain came up. I really enjoyed the anime but the concept to me has so many holes. I know its mostly scifi but I'm really interested in the concept.
Besides aesthetics what makes this concept so appealing? Or is it mainly for aesthetics?
How can machines be divine when it's so human? It's created by human's for human's. We have so much control over it.
I keep seeing computers being compared to angels, how so?
I really want to understand the concept better to enjoy more media like this more
