Iām curious about everyoneās views on investing into Apple (AAPL). The dividend yield is a little lower than I like (0.97) even though it comes out to about $3.10 over a year (according to Robinhood).
I know Apple is one of the most dominant stocks but I keep thinking that the company has more or less stagnated. Unless they change up their business model or innovate something entirely incredible, I donāt see the company growing much more as of right now. New models of phones, tablets, computers, and all their software advancements have pretty much been rather small over the past decade IMO and I personally do not see much growth.
Iām interested in dividends from āblue chipā companies and Apple is definitely one of them, but I canāt help but wonder if they have pretty much hit their peak already. This all makes me skeptical on whether or not I should even bother with dumping a decent amount of money into their stocks.
What are your thoughts?
