Should I have high yield dividends in my Roth IRA?

Post Body
I'm new to this and just found out that dividends don't get taxed in Roth IRAs. Is this correct? Within the next year or 2 I would like to save up money for a down payment but I don't want taxes to eat at my gains. Is this the right move? Thank you in advance.
