I'm not sure if this has been discussed in interviews or livestreams before, and I'm curious. Are the writers of dialogue/story for this game working at Gameloft or Disney? And then, when they write, how do they make sure to have the right "voice" for the character? Does Disney review the dialogue and if so, is each storyline reviewed with a team that worked on that character/story or...?
Dug, for example, has a very distinct style of speaking and perceiving the world. I'm not saying it's impossible to imitate, but I have to think Disney would want to make sure that anything their IP says aligns with their brand and thought for the character (especially for characters that still have ongoing stories outside of the game).
I'm more interested in confirmed information than speculation, for what it's worth. I have worked in similar industries and have some idea of how this probably goes, but I'm curious if they've ever discussed it openly.
