My husband is a very anxious traveller on trains so I’ve said I’ll find out as much as possible about the journey so he can prepare. We’re arriving via Eurostar (which isn’t an issue - if only anxiety made sense!) and am planning on getting the RER to the park.

In particular I’d love if anyone can share details such as - How many changes are there and how long are you on each train/waiting between trains? - how long (if at all) are you underground for? - does the train stop at lots of other stations on the route? If he starts to panic, are we ok to get off the train at any stop and just get back on the next one? - if it’s really too much, how hard is it to get a taxi from one of the stops on the route to the park?

Apologies if these seem like silly questions, but it would really put our minds at rest if we know. I did try google but the vast majority of results are in French and I took German at school!
